Being a counselor is the most humbling profession. Iā€™m so honored to be trusted by the clients I see, and to be part of their journey.

I am a compassionate therapist dedicated to fostering mental well-being in a collaborative, supportive space. I specialize in anxiety, grief, issues of faith, and perinatal & postpartum support, and am an LGBTQIA+ ally. With over a decade of experience in the mental health field, I integrate evidence-based techniques and mindfulness practices with empathetic listening to create a space for healing and growth. My goal is to empower clients by providing the tools and support needed to navigate emotions, improve relationships, and cultivate resilience. Whether you are coping with the complexities of a new pregnancy, mourning a loss, managing anxiety, or feeling overwhelmed and disillusioned, I am here to help you every step of the way on your journey towards emotional well-being.

I work with a team of therapists at New Life Directions, as well as in private practice on my own (Vaduva Counseling), to create unique treatment options to best serve my clients. My partnership with New Life Directions allows clients to use insurance for the services they receive, either by having insurance billed directly or by receiving receipts that clients can submit to insurance for reimbursement. The work that I do through my own practice, Vaduva Counseling, allows clients and myself to have more freedom and flexibility in treatment, outside of the standard constraints that come with using insurance for services.

I am based in Ann Arbor, MI, but am able to provide virtual services anywhere in the state of Michigan. I am also licensed to practice in the state of Virginia.
